The client designs and supplies custom BMW Z3 strut tower brace kits. These kits are aftermarket automotive upgrades whose function is to stiffen the chassis and improve handling of the vehicle.
That said, the product is required to have strong, clean, non-porous weldments all around the part to withstand physical loading while also appearing aesthetically pleasing since the parts are intended to not only add function but also boost appearances under the hood.

Before welding, each part is properly degreased to eliminate contamination withing the weldment. Parts are then constrained to a custom designed fixture to secure alignment as well as pre-heated to facilitate the welding process.
Filler material is selected to match the base metal of the parts as well as the customers mechanical design specifications. Finally, the weldment is executed with expert level craftmanship while staying conscious of the damaging effects of over heating parts.
Proper heat management is crucial in keeping parts from becoming damaged from warping or significantly changing the materials properties in the HAZ.
